Pairing Instructions for iPhone and Mercedes-Benz Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth®
Although the Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8+ are just about a month old, they’ve already been selling quickly and appearing in more and more places. If you’re one of the thousands of people who have already purchased the newest iPhone, you’re probably already using it for everything from text-messaging, to music streaming.
One of the more complex recent trends in automotive design has been manufacturers developing and branding their own “infotainment systems” in vehicles. On one hand, it’s pretty great how many tasks your car or suv is able to accomplish these days without a smartphone distracting you. Read the rest of this entry »
Old-model executive cars give us something unique and inspiring – they provide a portrait of first-class design, technology, and amenities for the time period in which they sold as new cars. Unlike mid-market cars, trucks, or wagons, these vehicles feature the most advanced performance, convenience, and comfort features that were available at the time. No corners have been cut in these cars, and no “easy roads” were taken.
Additionally, their deferral on extravagant comfort features leaves them without some of the features that haven’t aged quite as well. Read the rest of this entry »
All About the NY Window Tint Law
One of the nicest luxuries available in modern vehicles is the ability to choose the level of light in your car, whether that’s coming from a panoramic sunroof (like the E-Class, S-Class, or GLE-Class), ambient lighting (as is available on the 2018 S-Class), or even a rear-window shade (like the one that’s present on the Maybach S 560). As innovators of luxury, Mercedes-Benz have always focused on increasing the level of comfort in their vehicles by giving drivers and passengers control over cabin light. Not every vehicle is a race car. This fact, known to performance enthusiasts, seems to allude automotive manufacturers that try and sell every compact sedan, or crossover like it should be competing at the Nürburgring. Mercedes-Benz sets the benchmark for peak automotive performance across the board, but if you come to buy a track vehicle, you’re probably not looking for something you can pile the family in and take to Cape Cod. 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Safety Features
If you’ve ever bought a product that starts with “combination…” you know it probably doesn’t do one, or more of those things well. It’s hard for things to be really good at more than one utility. The uncompromising design, luxurious stylings, and exclusive price point of Mercedes-Benz vehicles have historically indicated a commitment to being a luxury brand rather than a car that should be in every person’s garage. Throughout their long and storied performance history, Mercedes-Benz has built a substantial reputation for thrilling innovation. Vehicles like the AMG® GT, SL Roadster, and Mercedes-Maybach S560 4MATIC® sedan are performance benchmarks across the automotive industry.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles have always been a paragon of what automobiles are capable of. Their pedigree is as much one of technological innovation, as it is one of luxury performance. Mercedes-Benz spends 10-million Euro ( about $12-million USD) a year on R&D. It’s no surprise, then, that the 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, as the top level sedan, receives the most cutting-edge technology available on the consumer automobile market. What Colors Does the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Come In?
The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is built to command respect. The strong surfaces, direct contours, and accents are impressive and important. Beyond the design, however, what has the power to make or break an exterior car aesthetic is the color options. The color of your car is the first thing people are going to notice. Not only do certain colors allow the design to be better seen/obscured, the availability of cheap, ostentatious colors can often turn people off to your car before they’ve had a chance to observe the construction.
Luckily, Mercedes-Benz has provided its stunning E-Class line with an incredible range of professional and evocative colors. There are even some sporty options among the palette, which manage to be bold without diminishing the elegance for which the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is prized.
Fully-electric vehicles have been around since the 1970s. Only in recent years, however, has higher demand allowed manufacturers to invest more resources into design. The days of EVs possessing a goofy, organic aesthetic aren’t quiet over, but the industry is getting further and further away from wanting electric vehicles to stand out. Mercedes-Benz own B-Class 250 E is a testament to not compromising class-leading style for a sustainable powertrain. Read the rest of this entry »
