Job Responsibilities at Silver Star Motors

• You will receive repair orders from the dispatcher and take the customer’s vehicle back to the stall area; once there, you will perform the service or repairs on the repair order. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently, upholding dealership and factory standards. You must also follow all laws regarding service repair work.
• You must document your work and perform quality checks as you perform service.
• When you need parts for service, you will need to contact the parts department. You may also need to tag and save parts you remove in certain circumstances (for example, if the customer requests it or if you’re performing warranty service).
• You will be required to let the service advisor know if there are any changes to the work you need to do.
• You will be expected to attend regular training classes and to keep up to speed with factory technical bulletins.
